FIRST LEGO League Challenge Robotics Summer Boot Camp Prepares Students for an Exciting Fall Season!
This summer, 24 students participated in ACCESS Educational Services’ FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge pre-season training, building foundational skills in programming while developing teamwork and problem-solving skills. Throughout the week, they learned coding using Spike Prime Kits while exploring how nature and technology can inspire innovation in preparation for the BIOGLOW™ season.
The official Fall Season kicked off on September 12th at the Discovery Science Center, where ACCESS welcomed returning students and new families to our robotics teams. Over the coming months, students will continue developing their programming skills, explore innovative solutions and research the BIOGLOW™ theme to prepare for FLL Challenge competitions.
We would like to thank Mr. Rob Comier for providing training to our students and staff using SPIKE™ Prime kits, as well as New England FIRST Robotics, the University of Bridgeport, Discovery Science Center, ReadyCT, and the Connecticut Office of Manufacturing for their support. We are excited for a season filled with discovery, creativity, teamwork, and STEM innovation!
